At Hakuba Goryu, we are committed to environmental conservation, taking measures such as reducing CO2 emissions, to ensure the preservation of the beautiful natural environment we offer for the future and achieve sustainable resort management.
While we have already been operating winter night skiing exclusively on 100% renewable energy, starting from December 2023, we have transitioned the entire power supply of our facilities to 100% renewable energy. This includes switching all power usage throughout the year, from gondolas and lifts to facilities such as restaurants and shops, and even snowmaking machines. This significant step marks our progress toward realizing a zero-carbon resort.
